Tropical Green Smoothie

Green Smoothie

With the holiday season fast approaching, I decided it would be a good time to share another smoothie recipe with you. Why? Well, I love a yummy fall treat as much as the next girl, however sometimes it’s good to be a little kinder to our bodies.  Enter….the smoothie. We are huge smoothie fans around our house, and aside from the occasional dry spell, we keep the vitamix humming almost daily. It’s a great way to get a variety of fruits and veggies into the kiddos….and their mama.

It is so easy to slip into eating not quite as healthfully this time of year, from the caramel apples to the christmas cookies, temptations are everywhere. Not to mention, we all start craving comfort foods…which are not always the best for us!

Looks are definitely deceiving with this Tropical Green Smoothie. It tastes much more fruity than “green” despite the nutritious addition of spinach.

If you’re looking for an 100% kid-approved way to eat spinach, this is it!
