This is one of my favorite times of the year. Not weather wise, mind you, but every season has it's silver lining. January's silver lining? A fresh start. A brand new calendar. Goals and hopes for the new year. While I'm not really a resolution person (don't you think we should be resolute all year round?), I do enjoy the extra motivation a new year brings.
So here are my focus areas this month to get the year off to a good start.
- healthy eating (for the whole family!)
- stay on top of my email/schedule
Simple Strawberry Greek Yogurt Smoothie
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 banana
- ¼ tsp stevia*
- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend well.
Stevia is optional, but my kids like the little extra sweetness. You can use honey instead, or just omit all together if you are not using plain, unsweetended yogurt.
