Remember last week when I told you about that Mustard BBQ Sauce? Yes, well, it is just so darn good that I can’t help but share it with you. It may just become your new favorite condiment. And who am I to keep you from such a life changing event?
Hubby and I had the exact same reaction to this sauce. When I first whipped it up I took a little lick, you know, just to try it. All I could think was, “Oh my word. I could drink this straight out of the bowl.” Of course, I kept the reaction to myself, knowing that I tend to get a little over enthusiastic when it comes to food. Later, when Hubby put it on his pulled pork sandwich he had the very same reaction. “Wow! I could drink this stuff.” Are we in sync, or what? Moral of the story: I just know you’re going to love it!
We have enjoyed this sauce on salads and sandwiches, but it could be used on so many things! It would be fantastic on chicken, burgers, or a great marinade. This will be a summer staple for us, for sure. Maybe it will be for you? Give it a whirl and let me know what you think!
- 1 cup mustard
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 2 teaspoons worchestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Whisk all ingredients together well.
- Store in air-tight container in refrigerator.
