Quick and Easy Taco Bowls
  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce + ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • a pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  1. In a large skillet, brown beef until no longer pink.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. That's it!
  5. Serve over corn chips with any (or all!) if the following toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, diced onion, black beans, refried beans, corn, sour cream, shredded cheese, salsa, avocado.
Remaining meat can be stored and frozen for another busy night. I like to use plastic freezer bags so I can store easily.
