Oh man. These are addicting little bars. Let me tell you alllll about ’em.
Pros:
- They have 5 ingredients. Five teensy-weensy little ingredients that you most likely already have in your pantry.
- They are healthy. They contain no refined flour, no refined sugar (well, maybe just a bit in the chocolate chips) and they are protein-rich.
- They whip together in a snap. You don’t even need to bake them!
- They contain chocolate.
Cons:
- Well, none that I can think of. In fact, I would highly recommend a double batch.
Oh. Yum. We used sunflower seed butter in these delectable bars, but you can use whatever you like. Peanut butter, cashew butter, almond butter. They would all be delicious. We use a LOT of Sunbutter, which I finally discovered that I can buy in bulk on Amazon!
Let’s make them!
5 Ingredient Healthy No-Bake Bars
These addicting little no-bake bars are fun and healthy.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup honey
- ⅔ cup nut or seed butter
- ⅔ cup oat flour*
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Instructions
- In a microwave safe glass bowl heat honey and sunflower seed butter, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Stir in oat flour.
- Press into an 8x8 pan.
- Place chocolate chips and coconut oil into a small microwave-safe dish. Heat, stirring often, until chocolate is melted. Don't overheat.
- Spread chocolate evenly over bar mixture.
- Refrigerate until firm. 1-3 hours, or overnight.
- Store, refrigerated, in an airtight container.
Notes
*Don't let the oat flour in these throw you. It is ridiculously easy to make. Just toss some rolled oats into the blender and give them a whirl.
{TIP} These bars will cut more cleanly by letting them rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes before cutting. If they are too cold the chocolate cracks a bit.

I love no-bake bars! I can’t wait to try this recipe 🙂
Love how simple these are to make and I DO have all the ingredients in my cupboards which is a huge bonus. Pinning for later :).
Thanks Olivia. I love that the ingredients in these are so simple that they can be quickly made when a craving strikes!
I made these, and was super impressed! They were so simple, but so delicious; so delicious that the pan disappeared embarrassingly quickly. I’m glad I had 5 people helping me eat them. 🙂
Thanks so much Tina! We feel the same way about them!
