If you are a regular reader, then you know that I have been dabbling in the 21-Day Fix. I have been very happy with the outcome for a variety of reasons. Sure, it’s nice to be a little happier when I step on the scale. But, more than that, I love that I have developed healthier habits. So even when I am not religiously on plan, my choices are still better.
Some of you may be curious to know exactly what one does eat on the 21-Day Fix. While this obviously varies from person to person, I’d like to show you what I eat on a typical day.
Breakfast
A yogurt bowl. These really fill me up. The greek yogurt is packed with protein so I’m sure that helps. Plus, I can’t think of a more delicious way to start the day!
Lunch
If I don’t mind using up my second carb on lunch, I will have a banana wrap. Another favorite is 2 scrambled eggs with sautéed broccoli and peppers.
Snack
Chocolate Banana Protein Shake. Sometimes I’ll have a handful of carrots too.
Dinner
By far, my favorite dinner is a great big loaded salad! I have become a bit of a salad fanatic this spring/summer. Be sure to check out these 8 Epic Salads for Summer for some delicious ideas.
Snack (again!)
Usually I feel like munching at night. I often have a small handful of almonds with just a few chocolate covered blueberries thrown in. Yum!
